Prior to your JUVÉDERM® treatment, the skin on your face with be thoroughly cleansed and prepared for injection. Using a very small needled syringe, Dr. Wirth will carefully inject JUVÉDERM® beneath the subsurface of your skin which contains connective tissue, nerve endings, sweat and oil glands, and blood vessels. Following injection, Dr. Wirth will gently massage the treatment area to ensure the product is evenly distributed.

Sculptra® is an injection-based anti-aging facial treatment that is capable of subtly replacing natural volume loss that occurs in your face as you age.

You may be a potential candidate for Sculptra® treatments if you meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • You are dissatisfied with the appearance of facial wrinkles and folds
  • Your skin has lost significant volume and elasticity
  • You are in good overall mental and physical health

During your consultation with Dr. Wirth, he will be able to determine if Sculptra® treatments are right for you. Be prepared to discuss your goals, medical history, current medications and cosmetic expectations during your appointment.

How Sculptra® Works

Sculptra® uses a different approach to achieve soft tissue augmentation than other popular facial fillers. The main difference between Sculptra® and other facial fillers is that it has the ability to correct volume-deficient areas through the stimulation of collagen. Rather than simply acting as a filling material which eventually breaks down and metabolizes into the body, Sculptra® stimulates your own tissues to produce collagen, which in turn creates added facial volume. This is done with repeated injections for most people

Sculptra® is performed on an outpatient basis. It is a quick procedure that typically takes less than an hour to complete. Prior to treatment, Dr. Wirth will apply a topical numbing agent or dental block to the treatment area to reduce discomfort. He will then use a small needled syringe to inject the Sculptra® solution into predetermined injection sites beneath the surface of your skin. An icepack as well as gently massaging the treatment area will reduce swelling and promote an even distribution of the product.

Restylane® is an anti-aging treatment option for men and women who wish to smooth out wrinkles, sculpt their lips or improve the contour of their facial features. This is a good choice for individuals seeking discreet long-lasting facial rejuvenation. With the help of Restylane®, Dr. Wirth can successfully reduce the appearance of wrinkles, particularly in areas around the nose and mouth. There are now more options within the Restylane® line allowing Dr. Wirth to customize options for you.

You may be a potential candidate for Restylane® treatments if you meet some of the following criteria:

  • You have moderate to severe facial wrinkles or folds
  • You want to add structure and volume to your skin
  • You would like to restore a more youthful appearance

Ideal candidates should also possess good overall physical and psychological health. During your one-on-one consultation with Dr. Wirth, he will be able to determine if Restylane® is the best treatment option available to meet your cosmetic expectations.

How Restylane® Works

Restylane® contains a naturally occurring substance in the body called hyaluronic acid, which is responsible for boosting skin elasticity and hydration. Hyaluronic acid begins to deplete with age, causing skin wrinkles and hollowness to become more apparent. Once injected, Restylane® replaces some volume where the hyaluronic acid was depleted, resulting in a reduction of wrinkles and an increase in facial fullness.

Restylane® treatment is an outpatient procedure that can typically be performed in less than 30 minutes. Dr. Wirth may apply a local anesthetic to the treatment area prior to your procedure, especially if you are undergoing lip augmentation. This will reduce potential pain. He will then use a small needled syringe to inject Restylane® into predetermined injection sites beneath the skin on your face. There is no downtime required and you should be able to resume normal activities right away.

Do you want younger, smoother-looking skin? Prevelle® is an FDA-approved minimally invasive anti-aging treatment used to reduce the appearance of moderate to severe facial wrinkles. This treatment differs from other popular fillers because it contains lower levels of hyaluronic acid and does contain the anesthetic lidocaine, resulting in significantly less pain during injection.

You may be a good candidate for Prevelle® treatments if you have one or more of the following conditions:

  • Marionette lines (lines from the corners of the lower lip to the chin/jowl region)
  • Hollowness under the eyes
  • Sunken cheeks
  • Thin lips
  • Nasolabial folds (lines from the base of the nose to the corners of the upper lip)

During your one-on-one consultation with Dr. Wirth, he will be able to determine if Prevelle® is best suited for you. Come prepared to discuss your medical history, current medications, and aesthetic goals.

How Prevelle® Works

Prevelle® is composed of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring component of the skin that begins to deplete with age. Hyaluronic acid works as a space filler, providing volume, structure, and hydration to your skin. Prevelle® treatments can effectively replace areas of depleted hyaluronic acid, resulting in a reduction of wrinkles and an increase in facial volume.

Prevelle® treatments are usually completed in less than 30 minutes. Prior to your procedure, Dr. Wirth will work with you to design a treatment plan that aligns with your cosmetic goals. Using a fine needled syringe, he will inject Prevelle® into your problem areas. Prevelle® contains a small amount of lidocaine, which will significantly reduce pain at the injection site. An additional topical anesthetic may be applied if you are very sensitive to pain.
